445: Damn You, Jeph Jacques!
Questionable Content's Hanners proves yet again why she's a OCD freak after my own heart:

I must admit, if anyone could held me overcome my anal squeamishness, it'd be a man who no doubt carries along twelve-types of douches on every date and would heartily approve of this video

ETA: Yeah, for some reason whenever I try and post a picture it comes out way too small, so here's the link so you can read it properly to get the joke. http://www.questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=1141

311: More Half-Assed Updates...
I find it terribly appropriate that two of my favorite webcomics should have ads for the Futurama marathon I just finished watching. Adult Swim gave this wonderful show a good era of much-needed reruns so that it could finally get a new season, which I'm excited for beyond all measure.

In other news, a full 50 pages into Carnival. I think my problem is that this is one of those books where the full picture is unfolded, thus meaning I will probably have to go back and reread it once I'm done, or maybe I'll fully get it by the end or as I go along. We'll see...

Meanwhile, in the past nine hours i have also read most of a semi-trashy teen chick lit book called "Scary Beautiful". The tone is present tense and oddly Valley-Girlish, despite its Colorado setting. It's an interesting play on high school drama sterotypes--that is, it adheres to some of the formulaic Grrl-Drama elements while trying to reinvent some of them. As such, it is just not-cliched enough to be mildly amusing.

Oh, and Queer as Folk tomorrow! Gross your fingers for me! ^_^

233: Sexgods of Webcomics...
Jeff Jacques is quite possibly the hawtest webcomic artist out there.

The guy interviewing him is ugly, but the video is worth it for the close-up. This veritable sexgod also has a livejournal, qcjeph.

Randy Milholland is no slacker either--he's way nicer and more adorable that I would ever have imagined:

80: And the Big Moment is Here...!
So, you know how my sister's NB (not-boyfriend) works for Coca Cola now? No? Because I didn't mention it before? Well, now you know...Anyway, he got this free case of engegy drinks...TAB, they're called apparently. Now, I have long been incredulous of my peers' energy drink craze and I decided to see what all the huffabaloo was about. I'm about to open it and take a drink.

In other news, I think my wanting to give up and sleep all the time is my senioritis finally manifesting itself. Christmas break is almost here, which is good; I still have lots to cram, so that is kinda bad. Meh, whatever; I sorta am not caring so much. Worst case scenario, I get C's. Which isn't really good, but I know I'm getting A's or at least B's in most of my classes, so...

Yeah, I really need to get working on stuff tonight, but I'm procrastinating; mostly by reading Penny and Aggie, whcih spoothbrush recommended to me a while back, but as often happens, I'll begin reading, not feel like continuing, and then come back to it later and fall in love. (This is what happened with both El Goonish Shive and Megatokyo--though it was more jump-starty with Megatokyo...:P) I also need to get back to reading Something Positive...I was only up through the first less than hundred strips last time I checked...I need some new fodded, now that I've finished reading Queen of Wands...Though I hear she's starting a spin-off! Doesn't surprise me, as she's seemed so reluctant to give up on it, rerunning the whole strip with commentary and everything...*shrug*

And just FYI: it tastes kinda fruity. ;)
